 unsuccessful in viewing document We had a file created with Microsoft Project 4.0/4.1/95/98 and we needed to gain access. The website advertised that your product would do that, it was unsuccessful.I'm sure it's a good product, but it didn't accomplish what we needed so we had to go another route.

 The download worked fine, but didn\'t preform any action it was supposed to.
 Project Viewer on Linux under Java I downloaded you Vierwier for Linux which appears to be version 3.0.It loaded OK and runs the example projects 100%, but when I try and view my Project files it does nothing, not even an error.Am I missing something here ?
 collaboration solution Affinion provided me with a perfectly suited collaboration solution, where I can comment on the project tasks and planning, without the full blown MS-Project installation.
general comments The Linux version refused to start complaining that some required field (jnlp) is missing from the launch file. Windows version - I haven't tested in native Windows, but it refused to work under wine, unfortunately.
 Afinion in short I downloaded this as a means merely to view .mpp files sent to me by programme/project managers. It fulfils this role admirably

Excellent tool Does what it says and does it well. Good value.I needed an inexpensive program to view and print MS Project files on a Project 2003 Server. HPV Solo PC did exactly what I needed, with a very simple setup. Within minutes of downloading the program, it was installed and viewing projects on the server.

This tool you need if you have problem with converting MS Project 98 file into newer verison of MS Project like 2007.

Although nice, this viewer was unable to open files from MS Project v. 2.0 or earlier. Thanks, anyway. Marc
Only tested it for opening .mpp files. For this purpose the software serves very well, with a reasonable amout of flexibility on managing the gantt chart for getting the proper view.
A practical tool and easy to use. Good job!

Downloaded but haven`t used My expectation was it's a free product. But after installing when I saw it's just a demo version, I've uninstalled it without using it. And planning to try KPlato instead.
 MS Projects Reader Thank you for the download. I received a Builder's program which I needed a copy of, and as we are quantity surveyors and don't use MS Projects, we couldn't view the file.This was great, and we were able to print out a copy of the programme.Thanks again
